Manifesto

Most outbound is expensive spam.

Most agencies sell the same playbook: more AI, more templates and more volume. It stopped working a while ago. These are the five things we believe instead.

  1. I

Infrastructure is the foundation nobody wants to talk about.

If your agency is sending 10,000 emails a month from a single domain, it's burning your sender reputation, and a burned domain takes months to recover.

Every client gets their own set of sending domains. Each domain warms up for three weeks before it sends a single prospecting email. We check inbox placement every day, and when Google tightens its filters, which happens often, we catch it the same day.

None of the targeting or copy matters if the email lands in spam.

  2. II

Everyone has an AI radar now.

Prospects delete the templated email in under two seconds. They've seen it forty times this month: the forced compliment, the vague value prop, the “15 minutes” from a stranger.

Our emails are written by someone who understands the prospect's situation and has something specific to say about it. Most clients come to us with reply rates around 2%, and that's the first number we work on.

  3. III

    Everyone has the same signals.

Funding rounds, new hires and job posts are in every sales database now. When everyone reaches out on the same signal, the signal stops meaning anything. Your prospect gets thirty versions of the same “congrats on the raise” email.

We start with research: where you already win, why you win there, and which other companies look like those customers. That sometimes turns up a timing trigger worth watching. Other times the right engine is a well-built list and a clear message, and that's what we build.

  4. IV

“I saw you went to Michigan State” is not personalization.

It's a party trick. Prospects see through it instantly, and it damages trust: you've told them you have nothing relevant to say, so you scraped their LinkedIn for small talk.

Real personalization connects what you sell to a problem the prospect has right now, like a gap in their stack, a challenge their team just posted about or a change in their market they haven't responded to. Done well, the prospect wonders how you knew.

  5. V

We keep the studio small on purpose.

Agencies that grow to a hundred clients get there by templating the thinking, and their output starts to look like everyone else's.

So we cap the studio at 15 clients. I design every engine myself, and every message is reviewed before it goes out. Once all 15 spots are taken, new clients wait for one to open.
